XCache Redistributed by OS Distro
Before reading GettingSource and BuildingFromSource your self, it may be nice for you to check if your os distro have port/ebuild/package etc for XCache, which would easy the pain installing.
- FreeBSD: See freshports or FreeBSD cvs
- openSUSE packages are available on the openSUSE build service
- Gentoo ebuilds are available at http://dev.hoffie.info/gentoo/dev-php5/xcache/
