#97 invalid var cache is loosing his value after some time (3-4 hours) moo Dioxin

the var cache is loosing his value after some time (3-4 hours). we store two big string arrays in the cache and after some time, the caching is getting purged automatically.

we set the cache entries via: xcache_set('wikiCache', $wikiCache, 0);

any known issues about this?

what does this setting mean: xcache.var_gc_interval=300

no explanation found in the docs.

thank you in advance :)

#228 fixed var cache doesn't work for php cli moo binBASH

I'm getting notices like this: PHP Warning: xcache_isset(): xcache.var_size is either 0 or too small to enable var data caching in /srv/httpd/

Tried to adjust the var cache variables, but nothing changes. In phpinfo it says xcache is enabled.

/opt/www/php/bin/php -v output shows: PHP 5.3.0 (cli) (built: Sep 17 2009 15:25:16) Copyright (c) 1997-2009 The PHP Group Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2009 Zend Technologies

with XCache v1.3.0, Copyright (c) 2005-2009, by mOo

I dunno if the opcode cacher works as well. When I run xcache admin scripts with php cli the tables are empty.

Tried to do a print_r($cacheinfos); but the array was empty.

#61 wontfix use of xcache_clear_cache from the command line, seems to be impossible moo judas_iscariote

it is impossible to xcache_clear_cache() from the CLI sapi, since it seems to want PHP_AUTH_USER and PHP_AUTH_PW which AFAIK, are for webservers...

I expect either a change in the way auth is managed in the command line, or no auth at all there.
